Sundance, UT 2026

For our next meeting, May 14-15, 2026, we're heading back to the birthplace of daVinci50, the lovely Sundance Mountain Resort located in Sundance, Utah.

Since we were last at Sundance, they’ve made many improvements and upgrades.

Lodging: The Inn is the resort’s new lodging option, located at the basecamp level of the resort, just steps away from our meeting space. The Inn has several different room types  for your consideration when planning your stay. Make sure to book using our link below to get access to the Inn, as well as suites and cottage rooming types at our special member rate.

Outdoor Activities: May is a wonderful time to enjoy the mountain air and some biking, hiking, zip-lining, and more. Sundance is spectacular in the spring, and the resort has a wide range of activities, or you can just enjoy hiking their trails. Check out what’s available here.

Art at Sundance: The early beginnings of Sundance were as an artist’s gathering place. It was a place where Robert Redford could gather fellow creative types to collaborate, make, perform, and explore. Explore the wide variety of art classes, from photography to pottery to perfumery to glass blowing.

World-Class Spa: Also new since our last meeting is a beautiful and fully appointed spa. The Spa at Sundance Resort, recognized on Vogue’s Global Top 100 Spa List, showcases the finer touches of a world-class spa—yet its setting is a rough-hewn cabin among the pines. Check out the Spa’s offerings and book ahead.

You must call their reservations department (800-892-1600) to request extra days. If you want to arrive early or stay late, book ASAP.

Keep in mind for planning the Sundance meeting:

  1. We are testing a two-day meeting with all sessions held on Thursday and Friday. For those arriving on Wednesday, we will host a reception from 5:00-8:00 pm. Please share your preference for the format of future meetings.
  2. Transportation to and getting around at Sundance requires a smidgen of attention:
    • On-Site Transportation - The Sundance Resort is a beautiful and serene mountainside retreat. That said, the Cottages and Mountain Homes are spread out on the mountainside, and while walking down to the meeting space is lovely, walking back to your room can be invigorating. The hotel does provide complimentary car service to and from your room, but remember that the timing of your transport is affected by the availability of the house car(s).
    • Returning to SLC - Please know that while Ubers are plentiful at SLC to get you to Sundance, they are essentially non-existent for the return. You must plan and reserve a black car service for returning to SLC. For black car service, we have used Snow Country Limo in the past and found them reliable. Please let us know if you’d like help arranging a departure vehicle.
    • Consider Renting a Car - Given the above, if you plan to stay in a Cottage or Mountain Home in lieu of the Inn, you may want to consider renting a car at SLC and driving to Sundance. There is ample free parking at the rooms and on the base level where the meeting spaces are located.
